OOTD – Summer Dress Edition

Hey Sunflowers,

Today’s style post is short and sweet and features this beautiful burnt-orange number. I wore this dress over the past weekend to Talking Black Gottingen, a weekend market featuring Black-owned businesses and crafts in Halifax. Believe it or not, I found this dress on sale in Walmart and I obviously couldn’t resist its vibrant colour and the simple but classy collar design (I mean, how could I when it cost me just $15?). I wore it with a pair of neutral-toned platform sandals and this beautiful round straw purse which I got as a birthday gift (S/O to my roommate!). I definitely felt like somebody’s wife in this dress if you know what I mean haha. What vibes is this look giving you?

Can you guess where these trendy sandals are from?

Surprise! I got these babies from Giant Tiger, our local grocery store. Your girl is always up for a good deal, and these shoes kept it cute without breaking the bank at just $20. You’d be surprised at the things you can find in the most random of places.

I can’t wait to wear this dress again because it not only felt super light and airy, but it was also effortlessly stylish, which is exactly how I personally like to describe my style. My goal with this look was to keep it economical but still exude elegance. Do you think I achieved the goal successfully? What would you pair this dress with? Let me know in the comments!

As usual, thanks for reading loves; any comments and feedback are always welcome! Don’t forget to follow my IG (@sasha_nauleen) and watch my latest YouTube video here. Have a great week 🙂
